2 That never made it.

I have been saved now 16 years of those years, the first 10 years I dated about 1 woman every other year. They would end sometimes without heartache and sometimes with. Then I started studying the Song of Songs where Solomon courts a slave girl and they marry. Using the Song as a guide I was able to court with more confidence that this is how God wanted it done.
The first few verses of the Song have the girl wanting to be married to Solomon, a wise godly man. The first girl I wanted to date didn't even want to get married to anyone, so that ended quick, then another time I dated a woman from e-harmony and when my past came up it was a "Fox" to big for her to handle so the courtship did not blossom. No hard feelings on either side because in the Song they didn't get engaged until they both were working on catching foxes that ruin the relationship from blossoming. This can be quite encouraging to know that you are following God's will in breaking it off. I extracted 15 or more principles from the Song and started a blog for anyone wanting to use Scripture as their guide. https://wordpress.com/post/solomonssongofsongs.com/173
